Borusan Contemporary brings international names of contemporary art together at its recent collection exhibition, Water Reverie that transcends boundaries by virtue of the New Media. Opening on April 7, the exhibition prepares to yield a particular experience through its configuration, which incorporates AR and VR technologies in the viewer experience, and its selection that permeates the public sphere.
Borusan Contemporary will greet the new season with BITTER MEDICINE #02, presented by the artist duo :mentalKLINIK as a prescription for the art world pushed to make drastic changes under the circumstances created by the COVID-19 pandemic.
By hosting the first Istanbul exhibition of the pioneering video artist Bill Viola in Istanbul, Borusan Contemporary leads into the new artistic season that opens with the 16th Istanbul Biennial. Bill Viola: Impermanent features works from different phases of the artist’s oeuvre, including works from the early years, to delve deeply into the world renowned artist’s practice. Curated by Necmi Sönmez, They Are Uttered and Left Unfinished All the Loves in the World II is an expanded continuation of the exhibition including a selection of works from the collection last season, inspired by Turgut Uyar.
Three new exhibitions will open on Saturday, March 9, at Borusan Contemporary: Bosphorus by Boomoon, Overture: Selections from the Borusan Contemporary Art Collection and They are Uttered and Left Unfinished, All the Loves in the World.
Borusan Contemporary opens for the new season on September 15 with two new exhibitions. Universal Everything, a global collective of artists, designers, animators, musicians, and programmers, explore the human form in the exhibition Fluid Bodies. The exhibition Üvercinka interprets the works from Borusan Contemporary Art Collection through the framework of Cemal Süreya’s poetry.

The most prominent center in Istanbul for new media art, Borusan Contemporary welcomes the spring with three new exhibitions, mostly unveiling works from the Borusan Collection that were never seen before.
Having narrated the altering façade of the nature as a consequence of industrialization with his large-scale photographs, Canadian artist Edward Burtynsky will be hosted by one of the most important representatives of the new media art in Istanbul, Borusan Contemporary, with his exhibition titled “Aqua Shock: Selections from the Water Project."
Borusan Contemporary will contribute two new exhibitions to the dynamic momentum of the İstanbul art scene in September with the opening of the 14th Istanbul Biennial!
The exhibitions entitled “What Lies Beneath” and “Desire” will take place between September 5, 2015 until February 21, 2016.
