Borusan Contemporary organizes exhibitions, events, and educational programs drawing on the Borusan Contemporary Art Collection and its thematic framework, while supporting the production of new artworks and writing through commissioned works and collaborating with international artists who incorporate photography, video, sound, light, and software-based technologies into their practices, with a focus on new media art in its broadest sense. By bringing together projects from diverse disciplines, it fosters dialogue between artistic production and its audience.
Since 2011, Borusan Contemporary has maintained its activities at Perili Köşk, the headquarters of Borusan Holding. Transforming the office environment into a creative setting provides a distinctive, innovative model that invites visitors to feel inspired and welcomed, bringing art into the workplace. Exhibitions and their accompanying events bring together the themes explored by collaborating curators and artists through multiple perspectives, offering audiences new possibilities for interpretation.
Borusan Contemporary Blog serves as a digital platform sharing essays and critical texts that focus on the artistic production of artists in the collection, fostering curiosity and a sense of discovery. Art Store and the Museum Café further enrich the visitor experience with exhibition-related publications and interdisciplinary selections, offering an environment for relaxation and exploration, with panoramic views of the Bosphorus.
