Haunted, Borusan Contemporary's new collection exhibition, explores the contemporary image world shaped by artificial intelligence, data technologies, and digital culture. Bringing together works by pioneers of new media art—including Rafael Lozano-Hemmer, teamLab, Quayola, and Memo Akten—alongside Kemal Önsoy’s works on paper that oscillate between figuration and abstraction, the exhibition invites viewers to reconsider reality, memory, and subjectivity along a trajectory towards a posthuman aesthetics.

This time, Perili Köşk (the Haunted Mansion) is haunted not by the ghosts of the past, but by entities animated through the invisible operations of the digital age. Drawn from the Borusan Contemporary Art Collection, the exhibition leads visitors through layers of time while immersing them in a universe that is at once familiar and uncanny. Within this universe, emerging possibilities summon into the present the experience of what has yet to come, as if from “a world of speculation.”
